The part cheap fabricators get wrong
Spring tension. It has to match the finished weight of your shutter, not a guess from the opening size. Set right, a 100 kg shutter lifts with one hand. Set wrong, it becomes a daily fight within two years.

How heavy is it to lift?
Set correctly, light enough for one person. If your existing shutter feels heavy, the springs have usually lost tension and can be re-tensioned rather than replaced.
What is the difference between 18, 20 and 22 gauge?
Gauge is the steel thickness, and a lower number means thicker. 18 is strongest and dents least. 22 is lightest and cheapest. We recommend a gauge for your span.
MS or GI?
MS costs less and is painted after fabrication. GI has a zinc coating that resists rust far better, which is worth it near the coast or anywhere it gets rain.
Can it be motorised later?
Often yes, if the shaft and side clearance allow. Tell us at the quote stage and we will build it to make that easier.
