What makes a shutter industrial
Not size alone. Every part is built differently:
- Heavier laths that resist denting from handling equipment
- Larger shaft that will not deflect across a wide span
- Deeper guides so a wide shutter cannot flex out in wind
- Heavy-duty bearings rated for repeated cycles
- Motor sized with margin, running well below its limit
Build any of these to shop standard and you get the failures you see two years in: sagging laths, seized bearings, burnt-out motors.
Best for
- Factory entrances and loading bays
- Warehouse, godown and cold storage openings
- Workshop and service centre doors
We cover the belt around Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu as well as the Ambattur and Guindy estates.

We survey before we quote
Headroom, side clearance, squareness of the opening, power supply and wind exposure all change the build. Getting them wrong on a large span is expensive to correct, so we do not price industrial work from a photograph.
Industrial Shutters — questions
What is the largest span you can make?
It depends on headroom and wind exposure rather than one number. We survey and confirm what is achievable, including whether it is better as one shutter or two.
Do you work around a running plant?
Yes. We schedule installation around shutdown windows so production is not disrupted.
Do you supply fire-rated shutters?
Tell us what certification your project demands and we will say honestly what we can supply and what needs a certified specialist product.
Is three phase power required?
Not always. Smaller units run on single phase; larger and heavier ones generally need three phase. We confirm during the survey.
